Our Adoration Chapel, in the former chapel of the Sisters of Loretto, was (dedicated) on February 6, 1994. Ever since that day, adorers have kept Our Lord who is exposed on the altar in the Blessed Sacrament, company. From near and far, young and old come here to recollect, give thanks, praise, adore and experience the deep peace that the bodily presence of Jesus showers on us. After all, "Jesus can never be outdone in generosity!" The time we spend with Him yields graces and favors beyond our expectations. And yet, we would give Him this honor simply because we love Him and because He richly deserves it. Here in this chapel, our love for Him is expresses and grows deeper and wider with each passing moment. Our desires, both spiritual and temporal are tenderly heard and answered. Our wounds are healed, our faith is strengthened, and our hope is restored. "We sit and look Him and He looks back at us." This is what we owe Our Savior so that His great "thirst" for our love may be satisfied. Our time and our attention is a gift that He so ardently desires. He waits here for us, a "willing prisoner of love."

We hope you will visit Jesus in our chapel and perhaps you too, will find yourself drawn to adoration of Our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament. A simple call to Priscilla Berry at 288-3292 or to the parish office at 288-2850 will give you information you need to participate in this blessed privilege. Don't keep Him waiting! Call today!

Quotes on the Most Blessed Sacrament

"...In this world I cannot see the Most High Son of God with my own eyes, except for His Most Holy Body and Blood."

St. Francis of Assisi

-"God dwells in our midst, in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar."

-St. Maximilian Kolbe

"He remains among us until the end of the world. He dwells on so many altars, though so often offended and profaned."

-St. Maximilian Kolbe

"Do you realize that Jesus is there in the tabernacle expressly you - for you alone? He burns with the desire to come into your heart...don't listen to the demon, laugh at him, and go without fear to receive the Jesus of peace and love..."

"Receive Communion often, very often...there you have the sole remedy, if you want to be cured. Jesus has not put this attraction in your heart for nothing..."

"The guest of our soul knows our misery; He comes to find an empty tent within us - that is all He asks."

-St. Therese Lisieux
